Trouble Ahead for Murtha?

The Defense Criminal Investigative Service, FBI, and IRS criminal unit raided Kuchera Industries and Kuchera Defense Systems.   These 2 companies  have strong links to John Murtha.

Murtha heads the Defense panel on the House Appropriations Committee, and has steered more than $100 million of  taxpayer money to contracts with Kuchera. In addition, CEO Bill Kuchera served on the board of a non-profit founded by an aide to Murtha.

It’s certainly conceivable that Murtha may be linked to whatever is being investigated.  After all, he was involved with ABSCAM, although he escaped charges.

Maybe the 2nd time will be the charm for Murtha, although I’m not holding my hand on my ass until THAT happens.
