I know this is extremely hard to believe, ESPECIALLY in Pennsylvania, but a poll worker is facing charges for his alleged *GASP* vote tampering for B. Hussein Obama.

On election day, there were numerous anecdotal reports on local radio in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area of various voting irregularities, but this is t he first I’ve heard of any legal involvement.

Now if they’ll only investigate that cess pool 0f vote fraud, Philthadelphia….

As I note on my “other” non-political blog, although I’m registered Republican, my ideology is Conservative/Libertarian. I believe in limited government, the 2nd amendment, and personal responsibility, amongst other things.

I did vote for George Bush twice.  At the time, I believed that overall, he was the best choice, and now that he has almost completed his 2 terms, I still believe that, but would have been much happier had the Republicans fielded a candidate who would not have grown government as much as Bush has, ESPECIALLY with the bailout BOHICA. I shudder to think what would become of us had Al Gore been in office on 9/11/01.

In the Pennsylvania primary, I voted for Ron Paul. I believe there is way too much government in this country, and that leads to inefficiency on so many levels, politicians stealing our money via taxes  for them to gain more power through bringing home the bacon, and general erosion of liberty. And while one person can’t change all of this in one term, a Libertarian in the White House would be an excellent start.

Living in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, I would prefer to have the luxury of voting either Libertarian or Constitution party, but given the current political landscape, I feel I must vote for a viable candidate. Although we technically have more than 2 choices to pick from, when it comes down to it, we’ll have either a Democrat or a Republican in the White House for the forseeable future.  Unlike my fellow Bohicaville blogger who lives in a non-battleground state that that will surely go for a particular candidate, I am in a state that very well could decide our next POTUS.

 Who I am voting for is important only to me, although if you’ve been viewing my posts, it’s not hard to figure out who that will be. (Hint: goofy Roman costume aside, I will NOT vote for this candidate)

My advice to all voters: ignore the polls, vote for who YOU feel is best prepared to lead our country, and if you are in a battleground state, remember that YOUR vote very well could decide our next POTUS.

This should go over big in the coal states:

Pennsylvania residents will be duly impressed that our esteemed Governor, Fast Eddie Rendell,  has decided to set a proper example, by keeping his state-leased 2008 Cadillac DTS, rather than getting a new one. Since taking office, Fast Eddie has annually upgraded to the newest model year Caddy. However, this year, times are tough, and he has placed a freeze on new state vehicles and purchases, in light of revenue shortfalls in the first quarter exceeding a quarter of a BILLION dollars. Story here.

I just hope that his 2008 Caddy can still fuel his need for speed.
