Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:

Number of States won
by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29

Square miles of land won
by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won
by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won
by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…”

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the “complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler ’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

We need to realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

My 16 year old son is interested in current events, but he often asks me for my analysis of what is happening.

Today, he mentioned that he read that some on the left attribute the “Tea Parties” to racism. That is, the “right wingers” are prejudiced, and are protesting just because President Obama is black (actually, he’s bi-racial).

If some people truly believe this, they are ignoring what the mainstream media has, for the most part, avoided reporting. That is, the Tea Parties yesterday were not based on displeasure over the color of the President’s skin, nor were they only made up of “right wingers”.

The fact is, the demonstrations were attended by working class people who are fed up with the spend-and-then-tax politicians who are pissing away our future, as well as that of at least the next 2 upcoming generations. Yes, there are more and more in this country who are finally starting to pay attention; I just hope it’s not too late.

Sure, many of those attending may be classified as conservative, but there were a great many protestors that were previously Obama supporters and voters, and now that they’ve seen his true agenda, they realize their mistake.

So the left-wing media can carry on with their “tea bag” jokes, and their condescension and disgust towards those protesting. But when next year’s general election is finished, I sure hope they don’t have the gall to say they are surprised at the results…

Bush left 8 years in office with a record $400 Billion deficit, but in only 2 months in office, B. Hussein is on track to QUADRUPLE that. Keep in mind that while the President puts forth his wishes, and ultimately signs any spending bills into law, it’s the CONGRESS that first gets it’s grubby little meathooks into spending legislation, and adds tons of pork and wasteful spending.

Speaking of wasteful spending, Akron, Ohio plans on doing their part to stimulate the economy by installing a fence on the All America Bridge to prevent suicide jumpers.

B. Hussein is apparently now the de facto Chairman of the Board of GM, forcing it’s CEO, Rick Wagoner, to resign. And the largely clueless American public doesn’t seem to be worried about government’s cancerous spread into the private sector.

My first car was a Ford, and all others GM . But that may soon change. The Federal Department of Auto Manufacturing is now going to provide funds (with OUR money) to pay for warranty service. Given the way the government manages things, that can’t be good. Time for a Toyota? Is anyone else worried about the government encroachment into the private sector?

Ford really DID have a better idea; they didn’t take bailout money. This allows them to conduct business as they see fit, and are not beholden to B. Hussein and GM (Government Motors).

Although not very common, there really have been other people who have had epidural hematomas prior to Natasha Richardson’s tragic accident. How long will it take before the government mandates helmets for skiing?

A California man just hit the government pork jackpot after being granted an $8.6 million judgement from the State of California. It stems from a 2003 accident in which Adam Rogers hit a wild boar on Route 1 near Carmel, California. The jury ruled that the state was responsible, because the state knew “that wild pigs regularly crossing a stretch of Highway 1 just south of the Carmel River were creating a dangerous situation, but they did nothing to address it.” Oh, and by the way, Adams was drunk at the time of the accident. Oink, oink.

Alcohol does more damage than marijuana to the developing teen brain.

Note to any mothers-in-law: DON’T piss off your son-in-law, especially if he owns an anti-tank missle launcher.

Motorized bar stools should NOT be driven whilst under the influence of adult beverages…

Of course, the Dems are the party which thinks they should tax the hell out of everything and everyone. That’s because many of them don’t pay their taxes unless B. Hussein nominates them to a cabinet post!

I received an email this evening from one of my US Senators, Robert Casey. Here is a portion of the text:

Dear Friends, It is difficult to quantify the outrage that taxpayers – AIG’s new shareholders – have regarding the bonuses paid to AIG executives. I have included my thoughts in a video statement above. I’ve also included the letter I sent to AIG CEO Edward Liddy demanding answers. AIG must reverse course and do the right thing and forego the bonuses or face legislative action. It’s ironic that he mentions the outrage that taxpayers have…

He certainly didn’t notice it last September with the TARP vote. He certainly didn’t notice it recently with the passage of Porkulus. And he CERTAINLY didn’t notice taxpayer outrage with the recent Omnibus Spending Bill. But he notices when the media bombards us with the story of AIG execs getting bonuses in the amount of one-tenth of 1% of their bailout money?

Yes, Bob Casey is an Obama Butt-Boy.

People who only pay attention to the news from the periphery will find the AIG bonus story reprehensible, and agree with the politicians. But what does all of this signal?

Of course, it’s right out of the Democrat playbook: magnify a problem (the economy) so that it snowballs until it’s nearly out of control, villify certain people in the crisis, and move in for the kill. As I see it, moving in for the kill will involve nationalizing our economy. Senator Casey’s statement that the taxpayers are AIG’s “new shareholders” proves that point.

And by the way, hold on to what’s left of your wallets: there’s a trillion $$$ “stimulus” package on the way.

Is all of this good for the country? Will the stock market gain confidence with all of this? Should US taxpayers be bailing out the rest of the world? And most importantly: how is your retirement fund doing?

“Not I,” said the goose.

“Then I will do it by myself,” She planted her crop, and the wheat grew and ripened.

“Who will help me reap my wheat?” asked the little red hen.

“Not I,” said the duck..

“Out of my classification,” said the pig.

“I’d lose my seniority,” said the cow.

“I’d lose my unemployment compensation,” said the goose.

“Then I will do it by myself,” said the little red hen, and so she did.

“Who will help me bake the bread?” asked the little red hen.

“That would be overtime for me,” said the cow.

“I’d lose my welfare benefits,” said the duck.

“I’m a dropout and never learned how,” said the pig.

“If I’m to be the only helper, that’s discrimination,” said the goose.

“Then I will do it by myself,” said the little red hen.

She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see. They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share. But the little red hen said, “No, I shall eat all five loaves.”

“Excess profits!” cried the cow. (Nancy Pelosi)

“Capitalist leech!” screamed the duck. (Barbara Boxer)

“I demand equal rights!” yelled the goose. (Jesse Jackson)

The pig just grunted in disdain. (Ted Kennedy)

And they all painted ’Unfair!’ picket signs and marched around and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.

Then the farmer (Obama) came. He said to the little red hen, “You must not be so greedy.”

“But I earned the bread,” said the little red hen.

“Exactly,” said Barack the farmer. “That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants. But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle.”

And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, “I am grateful, for now I truly understand.”

But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her. She never again baked bread because she joined the ‘party’ and got her bread free. And all the Democrats smiled. ‘Fairness’ had been established.

Individual initiative had died, but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared…so long as there was free bread that ‘the rich’ were paying for.

EPILOGUE
Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs.
Hillary got $8 million for hers.
That’s $20 million for the memories from two people, who for eight years repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn’t remember anything.

Don’t go planning on spending that “tax cut” that’s been promised to begin on April 1.

In what is perhaps the very first April Fool’s joke by the US Government, the tax cut announced by B. Hussein is anything BUT a tax cut.

You see, Obama announced that he has ordered employers to cut taxes taken from workers’ paychecks as part of his effort to boost a worsening U.S. economy.

But the key is in the wording. Yes, he HAS ordered employers to cut witholding of taxes in workers paychecks. However, what ISN’T being reported is that the tax tables are unchanged for 2009. The tax RATE is unchanged , but employees will have $65 less WITHHELD from their check.

And to add insult to injury, those who do not make enough to OWE income taxes can “file for their share”.

But then again, what does one expect from an administration that nominates tax cheats for cabinet positions.

Maybe one of the Tea Party protesters can help spread the word.

Grab your ankles….

It continues to appear that Tea Party USA is gaining momentum; the sleeping giant is awakening, and BOY IS HE PISSED!

Public schools have failed miserably in educating students on economics. This is clearly evident when listening to people discuss the current economic situation. On C-SPAN this morning, I heard a caller lamenting how he has such high property taxes, yet corporations such as the eeeeevil Wal Mart get tax breaks, while the commoners get slammed. My answer to THAT is we are overtaxed to pay for all of the entitlements and pork thrust on us by power-hungry politicians. Placing an undue tax burden on corporations has lead to many of them moving factories outside of the US, thus resulting in job losses. More taxes on business is analagous to biting the hand that feeds us.

Between election day and 2/12/09, the Dow fell 18%. I don’t want to hear ANY Obama voter bitch about their 401k.

Back in June, when George Bush was President, the Congressional Budget Office forecast the 2009 budget deficit to be $482 Billion; liberals and Democrats were utterly INCENSED over this. B. Hussein’s new plan puts the budget deficit at $1.7 trillion, and the silence from these same people is deafening.

Hope and Change; the Obama mantra. That massive increase in the Federal budget deficit is definitely Change. Now, Slick Willy is advising a little more Hope from The Messiah. I wonder if Slick Willy’s wife’s boss will take the advice?

Presumably, Chandra Levy was a Democrat (she was an intern with a Dem Rep from California). Although I don’t know her family’s political views, nor do I know either her’s or her families views on illegal immigration, it’s interesting to note that her suspected killer is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador.

The New York Times feels that the government should take over the banks. I wonder if they feel the same way about large newspapers?

B. Hussein is apparently trying to stem the tide of his falling approval numbers. Yesterday, he announced that we will be getting our tax cut by April. Try not to spend all of that $65 per month (for a family; less for individuals) all in one place.

The Democrats have been obsessed with ensuring that the rest of the world likes us. But that was BEFORE the election. Apparently, that has changed.

Students at NYU barricaded themselves in a cafeteria, protesting the lack of budget transparency of the University. “The students wanted NYU to release information on its budget and endowment, including staff salaries and financial aid. The students also wanted the university to release its investment strategy and the names of the people and firms involved in it. ” How dare them?
