If you live in Massachusetts, you have a chance to abolish the state income tax on November 4th. There is a ballot initiative to get rid of it. The political powers in the state are fighting hard to get it defeated, but hopefully it will pass. That, of course, would mean that those of us in other states wouldn’t be able to refer to it as “Taxachusetts” any more! That would be a good thing. Good luck to the small government activists in Massachusetts!
